Cruise control won't work?

2003 Ford Escape automobile cruise control set button doesn't work, why?

  • I've had no problem until recently. Cruise control was working just fine in the morning on my way into work. On my drive home, cruise control set button wouldn't work. Not a fuse problem because the dash "cruise" light goes on.

  • Answer:

    you could have a relay gone out it would be in the the power box under the hood. if not you need to take to a service center b/c you might have a bigger prob. hope this helps good luck.

It could be the cruise control cable that has came loose and/or broken or the speed control servo its self.
