What is good asking price for 93 mustang?

How much is my modified Ford Mustang worth?

  • I am looking to sell my mustang and want to know a good price to ask. Its a 2000 Mustang Coupe, has 117000 miles on it. Its a head turner and looks super sweet, only one small dent on it above the bkac driver side tire. Exterior is in MINT condition! Kelly blue book has it at $3225 but it has about $4500 bucks in upgrades on it. Here is what it has: I just installed a deck cover for underneath the stereo where there was a hole from the old stereo. It is just a piece of plastic that has the word "MUSTANG" cut out designed by myself using a 3D program with a 3D printer. Along with that there is an iPod dock on the dashboard for easy access to yours or any iPod. All looks great. I am planning on putting in red L.E.D.'s behind the CD deck cover hooked up to either the stereo or the headlights on Saturday so it will glow through. -Cold air intake (Enhances mpg/horsepower/sound) ($150) -Performance module chip (Enhances mpg/horsepower) ($50) -Rear Spoiler -15" Konig Rims and performance tires ($1250) -4 extra winter tires and rims -Red and black Seat Covers ($50) -Heated drivers seat/massage ($40) -Brand new brake pads, rotors and calipers on back ($650) -Set of winter tires and performance tires -Cool black light lit interior lights above passengers and drivers legs. -Aftermarket headlights/foglights and lights on the hood ($350) -Dual 12 inch infiniti Subwoofers In box in back with amplifier 1235 watts each ($400) -4x 50 watt alpine stereo with ipod cable, reads MP3 Cd's/Data Cd's ($200) -2 ribbon tweeters ($50) -Red bumper inserts/stripes ($425) -Very clean and nice engine -Aftermarket Shifter knob ($20) The car is in mint condition. Please some mustang guru, let me know what I should be asking, thanks!

    bro i think your car Worth lot more than 3,000 that's for sure even you put a lots of money on it it does not raise the value of it but if some1 likes has to pay the price or don't get it. if it was my car i will ask 7000-6500 and then make a deal about 6,000-5,000 you don't have to sell it for 3,000 you can not buy even a honda for that. my car has 200,000 on it is a 95 gt and the dealer stlil otfer me 4,000 i have some money on it to so they din't get it. i know you won't sell the car fast just be waiting and some1 will come.don't try to sell it to a moroon who is looking for gas mile or every day car, sell it to plp who loves cars.

Saddly, the expensive things that you think make this car so sweet do not raise its value at all. Luckily not many sound like they would devalue it . If you happen to find a peron who has exactly the same taste as you, then it is valuable, but in reality a stock Mustang is more valuable than a modified one.

If the Kelly Blue Book excellent condition value is $3,225, and your car has at least 1 imperfection (the tiny dent), I would value your Mustang at right around $3,000. You could possibly get another couple hundred dollars for the extra set of tires, but unfortunately all the modifications that you made dont really increase the value of the car very much. But, after saying that, I must add that it all depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay. Even though the technical value may only be $3,000, somebody that is looking for a car like this and likes all the upgrades might be willing to pay more for them. So, if you find the right buyer, you may be able to sell it for around $4,000. I know it doesn't really sound right that a $3,000 car with $4,500 worth of upgrades would still only be worth $3,000, but its the truth.... For example, you can find a $20,000 sporty car that has $50,000 worth of performance upgrades, that is selling for $25,000. When it comes to car modification, every dollar you put into it, does not mean you increase the value by a dollar.

wouldnt pay anything over 4000 for it. Like a couple people said just because you put some stuff on a car doesnt mean it really rasies the value. I mean come on seat covers or aftermarket interior lights?

well, considering the high mileage, I wouldnt hope for too much. possibly 5,000 - 6,000 US dollars.

Seriously, don't listen to KBB (kelly blue book). Their prices are terrible. Usually overpriced. That being said, with the upgrades you have, I would suggest selling between 4000 and 5000 $. If I had to pinpoint a price, I would say $4400.
