What color shoul have pick for my 1962 ford F100 pick up truck?

I purchased a 1962 foord f100 step side and I need to pick up a color, the current color is original light green, few people told me to paint it black dull other ones red and other people the same original color. I would like to paint it to increase the value of the truck.

Original color is best Changing color involves painting door jamb, sills, inner cowl, underhood,etc double your cost, and actually reduces value.

dont paint the truck black you will regret it later... black absorbs heat in turn making the truck heat up more than a color that repels it lets put it this way. when you wear a black t shirt you heat up more than if you are wearing another color. the other way you can increase the value of the truck is chrome plating things in the enginre bay. even if it is only a 6 people will stop to look. but not all things can be chrome plated.
