What's the newest and most expensive mustang?

Whats is the big difference between the mustang Shelby gt and the normal mustang gt?

  • i know that the Shelby gt is much faster and more of a sports car than the normal mustang gt. but what if put a body kit, hood, rims, race strips, badges and other stuff on a normal mustang could you fool lots of people and make them think you have a Shelby mustang. I really don't care about how fast my car can go. I just want to drive around in a nice car. so is there a way to make the original mustang gt look like a mustang Shelby gt, and pay a lot less?

    Yeah, All those body accessories and rims are available separately via Shelby or many other aftermarket vendors. Another respected aftermarket Mustang builder is Roush Mustangs. JJ

If you really wanted to, you could just add the Shelby kit, but true mustang people would still be able to pick it out as a fake. I think any GT is still gonna look nice...I'd just stick with a regular GT. And I agree, he is one interesting guy...and he makes some amazong looking cars.. :)

i have a shelby gt 08- all you need is a brushed aluminum grill, hood pins, hood scoop, new front splitter, stripes, side scoops, shelby badging, and a rear body panel if you only care about looks. if you want the performance you would have to get a ford racing x pipe exhaust system, ford racing gta mufflers, ford racing cold air intake, enging computer tuner, new tires, lowering springs, dampeners, and a ford racing handling package. you can find the all the appearance stuff at americanmuscle.com and some of the performance upgrades, but then again, your not looking for performance.

It depends on what year mustang it is. You can probably find the stripes, decals and emblems for the Shelby GT or GT500 and put them on your regular GT. Here's a link to the Shelby website - this will show you all the options that come with the Shelby cars: http://shelbyautos.com/

The shelby gt has 13 more horsepower. its just body style and trim. The shelby cobra is muchhh faster though thats different than a shelby gt haha. The shelby gt is not worth it for the extra money especialy new..
