What did people think about the Ford KA advert involving a pigeon being killed ?

A few years ago an advert released by Ford when a comedy pigeon was hit by the bonnet, do you think it was right to be released for the public to see ?
Answer:

There's one with a cat too. You do know it isn't a real pigeon don't you? Nor did they use a real cat. It doesn't offend me, people who find it offensive clearly don't realise why they promoted the SportKA as they did.
