Best manual for the 1967 Mustang Fastback?

Anyone any experience with a 1967 Mustang Fastback??

  • I have always dreamed of getting one, the fastback from (1967 to 1970) Have you any knowledge of this model, any ideas on problems this particular car might thave etc??? Thanx

    they had no problems .. most of the ones i see lately have rusted the inner finder around the battery..but parts are easy to get i just got a 70 boss 351 with a top loader and a 9" that runs perfectly ,needs paint $5,000 they are not that hard to find or expensive but i guess that depends on where you live not much to see black on blue with primer spots everywhere old American mags ...it needs paint bad ,but it's all there and not a dent in it. .p.s the interior is showing its age as well..but it is all there

Problem will be finding one in good condition at a reasonable price. There were problems with leaking back decks and windows. Look for rust.

Yeah, there is a company out there making official Ford frames because the popularity is so high on these cars right now. I can't remember the name of them but they also make new Camaro frames. Oh wait its Year One. Just that they are so popular it makes them very scarce and very expensive! At one time it was said they were made out of recycled beer cans, because they were so light. Naturally they are prone to rust if left out in the rain or driven on salty roads. The uni-body has no frame and if the rust is severe enough the car can literally break in half, this is especally true on convertibles and that's why it's so important to check underneath the car when buying Oh, and I would sure like to have a picture of that 70 Boss 351 for my records, I only have the 71 Boss 351
