Where can i get a data sticker for my 1971 cougar. the door has been painted and the data sticker cant be read

the sticker on the door with the mfg info car color mfg date etc cant be read. does anyone know who i can contact . I have the vin # of the car .please let me know at [email protected]. THANKS

you are pretty much screwed... that tag has too mush info to go to a dealership... each tag is specific to each ride, there are too many variable to try to find out... best bet try to clean it off

this is what I would do, I used to own a 72 merc marquis as I recall the tag was protected by an altra thin layer of plastic -nail polish remover, lightly rub,contact -mercury club write to ford.
