Dodge Neon Car cuts out when I turn left?

My car alarm wont go turn off what should i do? 2002 Dodge Neon?

  • so this has happened 3 times now... first time some guy down our street looked under the hood and did something... 2nd time (a few weeks ago) i got into my car and turned it on and it stopped. This morning it went off and turning on the car didn't help... it just kept going off... in 2/3 of the situations my hand held locking keyring thing doesn't wonk... (i think the battery is going dead since on normal situation sometimes it doesn't work) Well the only way to stop it this morning was to disconnect the car battery. does anyone have an idea why this is going on? or what i should do to stop it?

  • Answer:

you need to just change the battery in the remote and see if that makes it work and check all doors really good on the car to make sure all of them are closed, even a battery going bad or getting weak will cause the alarm to go off,so you might want to get the battery in the car checked also,i own one with a factory alarm system and when the battery started going bad the alarm would go off all the time, good luck with it.

Remove the fuse In the fuse box, usually located below the steering wheel to the left. Many cars also have other fuse boxes (sometimes three or even more) inside the engine compartment. If it's an aftermarket alarm (installed after the car left the factory), you'll find the fuse under the hood, usually on a wire connected to the positive battery terminal. Or... If you disconnect the battery and then reconnect it, it will only sound the alarm again. You need to find the switch(button) and hold it down for 3 second then start it. It will reset the alarm and it should be ok. Factory car alarm 1.Make sure the drivers front(left front) door is closed and you have your car keys. 2.Insert your door key into the drivers door and turn it to the locked position two times. 3.Then turn the key to the unlock position twice. 4.The alarm should be disarmed, now. 5.SECOND TECHNIQUE: 6.If not then take the ignition key and turn the ignition switch all the way ON then OFF then ON a second time and OFF again. 7.These are the procedures for nearly all factory alarm systems. 8.If neither of these works you probably have an after market(add-on) alarm system. Disarming a after market alarm system with your ignition key will be discussed in a future post. After market car alarm 1.In normal operation, you must use the valet bypass switch. The valet switch is either a toggle switch or a push button. Usually this switch is located somewhere under the dash, perhaps on the left kick panel. 2.Turn the ignition key to the on position and quickly toggle the switch or push the button. The alarm should now be disabled
