Cruise control won't work?

2001 Stratus cruise control wont work.?

    the three main causes for it working intermittently like that is the brake light switch could be going bad or the main switch that you turn it on with is going bad or the clock spring in the steering wheel is going bad on it,if it was me id check the brake light switch first,good luck.

Be sure you check the grounds fully don't forget a loose brake switch can cause that problem and even a bad ground wire going to the servo.Follow the big thick black wire that you see that plugs into the servo it will attache to the chassis or frame etc , the servo is the device that has the two metal lines going to it that run to the throttle etc. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way since the cruise control is controlled via the body control module=BCM and different switches the problem could be wiring or ground wire related or be a faulty or dirty cruise control switch or a bad BCM.
