What is the grinding noise I hear when i turn my steering wheel?
-
I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2l and since i've had the car it has always had a grinding noise while turning sharp turns. What could be the posible troubles? Also there is no play in the steering wheel.

Answer:
Sounds like the road wheel is rubbing on something on sharp turns. You'd have to jack it up on the side where the noise is, put the steering on full lock and turn the road wheel by hand an observe where the noise is coming from. It may be the steering stop needs adjusting.
