Can you help pick out parts for my 07 Rmz 250?

How can i make my 07 dodge charger SE 3.5vL faster?

  • Ok,i just turned 20 and ive finally got an decent car.To be completely honest, its not my dream car which is the charger |5.7Hemi| or the |srt-8| that i just ||cannot afford =0(. Well..the SE can already push 250 hp with 260 torque, but i was hoping i could transform it to 300-320hp.I hear so much about turbo charge, mopar performance,Performance headers, flowing exhaust, cold air intake, super chips and etc.Can someone please explain to me what each individual part is for and tell me whats best to put on my car.Is it best to contact a dodge dealer and have them put the parts on or just use my local mechanic? Whats the price range? Im aiming at.maybe $1000 bucks the most. Im receiving my car on monday, so that's why a little advice would help clear the depression of me even having a 3.5 l0l ps:And please don't tell me that i should of got the r/t or the 6.1! Or i should sell my car.Its pretty offensive when i worked hard to get the car that i have.|thanks| aim:elo2uho305(if u have more advice)

Turbocharger is 1 of the best thing you can get for performance on a car...gives you a big boost in hp and its really lightweight...Turbochargers are a type of forced induction system... They compress the air flowing into the engine. Mopar is just beast...Pretty much every aftermarket thing on my car is Mopar...Performance headers just help push more air oout of the engine through the exhaust blah blah...aftermarket exhaust is better airflow...and it sounds good too. Cold air intake is...a cold air intake lol. You won't be able to get as much as you think with only a grand lol performance parts are expensive...I'll hit you up on aim if you want...I'll try to help with anything you need to know>>just add me on here or somethin to let me know to add you on aim

Well a thousand dollars is pretty tight so i just suggest a cold air intake and a super chip programmer. And not to be rude but for the money you spent on the Charger, you could have got a Impala SS or Monte Carlo SS. I am a Hemi man myself, I own a Dodge Magnum R/T but owned the 3.5L beforeand it wasn't extremly slow to me. It's not as fast as a Hemi but they aint slow either.

To get a 50_70 hp gain for $1000 you have to go nitrous. ZEX makes nitrous kits for fuel injected cars. You will never see 50-70 hp from cold air intakes and exhaust systems. Turbos and superchargers will get the job done but are much more expensive.

get a performance chip it will give you about 35 more hp doesn't sound like much but you will notice the diference and this is the most cost effective.

This is a sure fire way to get your ride to gain speed. Floor it going down a big *** hill.

start out slow, change oil regularly maybe switch to synthetic, get cold air intake, get better spark plugs, upgrade exhaust. make sure you don't void any warranties on the way. you will find that going turbo or supercharging will require all these upgrades as well. If you get a decent CAI and exhaust it will be around the 1000$ range, and your dealer will charge you too much to do this, find a good mechanic or do it yourself. explaining each part will take up a lot of space and there are a lot of resources on the web, start with Wikipedia and how stuff works.
