Dodge Neon Car cuts out when I turn left?

1995 dodge neon car trouble. Can anyone explain why when I hit 45 it acts like it wants to turn of and shakes?

  • I drive all day going 30 or 35 but, as soon as I hit 40 or 45 my car shakes. It acts like it is going to shut off. It has a few times but, I just need to know what it could be can anyone help pleased

    When was the last time you got a tune up? Also the timing could be off on the engine. Could be a plugged catalytic converter, or possibly a bad sensor. Is the check engine light on?

Your problem is you are driving a 95 Neon, the only way to fix it would be to set it on fire. They were crap in 95, just the fact that it is still operational in 2011 is truly a miracle. You have clearly gotten your monies worth. Not trying to be a jerk, I owned a 96 Neon from 2004 to 2005 that I used as a beater, I found the best way to deal with the issues were to pretend that they weren't happening, if anyone mentioned then I would tell them they were imagining it. I would suggest just taking it to a shop, most estimates are free but I would guess the repairs needed might not be worth the money.
