I have a 1999 dodge dakota 2wd v6 when it warms up the more gas I give it the less oil psi i have evenually dropping to 0. do I have to pull the motor to get the oil pan off or is there enough room to change oil pump w/o pulling motor

Answer:
if you,ll loosen the motor mounts on it and jack the engine up there will be enough room to get the pan off, barely though place some old wooden blocks in under the mounts when you loosen them and that will hold it up,i have took them off this way,be careful when doing this and ,make sure its safe to work under, good luck.

you can block up the enginebut i would pull it because a new oil pump isnt gonna fix it,at least not permanently the engine wont live.it has other issues.
