How to turn back on heat in dodge caravan 95-97?

• hello , my dodge caravan doesnt have heat anymore , because a few summers ago the person who previously owned it found that it would only blow hot air ... and they didnt want this in the summer so they brought it to a mechanic and he flipped some sort of lever or switch that actually blocks the air from coming in (the fans still work but no hot air ) i live in north eastern PA and ill have you know that the winters here are pretty harsh so having a car with no heat is like deadly (seriously) so what i am trying to find out is how to re open the intake valve for heat, what i need to do ( i know most cars have them) is i need to find the one for the dodge caravan and find out how it works thanks very much in advance any further questions feel free to ask

  sounds like they pluged the heater core hoses. look for two thick hoses on the firewall and one should have a valve in it, open it to allow hot water to enter the heater core. they could have run the heater core hose from the water pump back to the block, buy new hose and connect the heater core.
