98 Ram 1500 truck stalls when I put it in reverse. It stalls only in reverse and after the engine is warm.?

The truck only stalls in reverse when warm. If I let it sit and cool off I can start it up, the engine may or may not idle correctly when put in reverse. It idles correctly in drive, park, and neutral. The trans only has 4000 miles on it. What can be causing it to stall only in reverse after the temp gauge starts to rise>

Answer:
the only time i have seen one do that was when the valve body was sticking on it and letting it cool down released the stuck valve in it,if you got any kind of a warranty left on it take it back to who ever rebuilt it,mine did that and the tranny shop said it was trying to go in drive and reverse at the same time and that was what was stalling it,they had to go back in and change the valve body in mine all over again, good luck
