Do I need a laptop for my gcses?

I qm 14 and going to do my gcses next year and i know i have to type up alot of my work eg course works and stuff. my mum and dad dont think i need one and i have a computer but my brother never gets of it so i hardly get it he has a laptop no one else can use and he doesnt either and now hes broken it and my parents hav said yes already. we have to save for my brothers university and so that might be another reason why i cant get a laptop and i do t know how to ask them for a laptop because everytime i say "can i get a laptop" they just straight away say no. plz help me

Get an iPad or tablet instead, they are just as good for a student and have courses that you can do from your own home, there is also a special online store like the app store where you can buy and read textbooks

It can make things easier but you can also use a computer. All you need is internet, word, powerpoint and excel :) best to get these already on the laptop.
