PCI Device Driver in HP Compaq dc7600 Small Form Factor PC?
-
I have windows XP Service Pack 3 in my PC and can't install PCI Device in that due to this reason no sound is coming from system. I had used Service pack 2 in same system & it was running fine but not accepting same drivers in SP3. I also tried all drivers from HP website but no use. What is the permanent solution for that? Thanks

Answer:
Did you check the error code on the PCI device in the Device Manager? Maybe there is a conflict with another device, or the driver failed to install. If SP3 installed driver updates for other devices, that could potentially affect existing devices of course. Try finding an updated driver for it or check why the drivers that worked in SP2 do not install under SP3.
