How do you make a tiled background?

How can I make my computer run background sounds on startup?

  • I have been doing a lot of rigging to my computer to make it more futuristic looking and I have also set up specific sounds for opening and closing programs, and even for the shut down and all kinds of stuff like that but I am still not satisfied. I want my computer to run a bunch of background sounds like those you would here in a futuristic computer lab right at the Windows Startup page if possible, but if not at the login screen. Preferably not continuous after login, but any extra sounds that I could set up would be cool. I'd also like my login screen to have a background of some high tech computer system that moves a little bit here and there. Things like text being typed out in florescent boxes, and random gears rotating. Things of that Nature. I have a program that lets me change the login background, so I can imagine a good motion background should work. I am running Windows 7 Premium and I have the HUD Red Setup. Any other cool tips on how to make my computer more futuristic would be greatly appreciated. Leave download links please =)

  • Answer:

Windows 7 and Vista From the Start menu, select Control Panel. Note: If this doesn't match what you see, refer to About navigation settings in Windows. Click Hardware and Sound. Under "Sound", click Change system sounds. Under "Program", click Windows Logon. You can select a sound from the "Sounds:" drop-down menu, or click Browse... to select a .wav file. If you don't want Windows to play any sound during startup, either uncheck Play Windows Startup sound or choose (None) in the "Sounds:" drop-down menu. Windows XP From the Start menu, select either Control Panel, or Settings and then Control Panel. Note: If this doesn't match what you see, refer to About navigation settings in Windows. Click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon, and then click the Sounds tab. Under "Program Events", select Start Windows. You can select a sound from the drop-down menu or click Browse to select a .wav file. If you don't want Windows to play any sound during startup, select (None) from the drop-down menu.
