Hooking up a Third Party PS3 Controller to PC?

  • I just purchased and received a Third Party PS3 Controller from Amazon. When I plug it into my computer, I wouldn't expect it to work, but I at least would expect it to recognize a controller connected to my computer. So I go and install all sorts of PS3 Controller Drivers for Windows, but none of them work. I guess because the controller is not Sixaxis or Dualshock 3. My Computer is Windows XP, running Vista, 32 Bit. I just don't know why my computer doesn't recognize it. I also do not know the manufacturer because the previous owner took the stickers off, but it has strange looking buttons is all I can say. ~Ste

  • Answer:

So how is your computer Windows XP if it's running Vista? And since it's 3rd party, wouldn't that mean you need to download the 3rd party's drivers? if you're gonna post a link, wouldn't it had made more sense to post a link to the item instead of just a picture?
