How to program the garage door opener on a escalade?

Does anyone know how to program the garage door opener in a 2008 model Chrysler vehicle?

• I drive a 2008 Dodge Avenger, and I can't figure out how to program the garage door opener on my driver's side visor to open the garage door. The instruction manual isn't much help, either.
