How can I make my video play backwards?

How do I make my monitor use my new video card so I can play Sims Medieval?

  • I just upgraded my OS to Windows 7 32-bit and at the same time added a new video card, the EVGA nVidia GeForce 6200. I downloaded the drivers for the new card, installed them, and my computer tells me the drivers are up-to-date. So in a way, my computer does recognize that the graphics card is there. However, I have two problems. 1. When I try to run the Sims Medieval with the modern plugged into the default port, an error message comes up: "Unable to start game. Device 0 cannot run this title. No supported video graphics card detected. Please check your system hardware." But my graphics card is supposed to be compatible with TSM! Compatibility requirements say that the Video/Graphics Card must be at least 256 MB graphics card (shader model 2.0); mine is 512 MB. And on the back of the game's box, it says specifically that it is compatible with nVidia GeForce 6200. 2. When I plug my monitor into the port on my newly-installed graphics card, the monitor reads "No Signal" and shuts off. Also, when I go into Display Settings, it tells me that I do not even have any options for plugging my monitor into the graphics card. This is even the case if I turn off the Standard VGA one, and if I uninstall that one, it just reinstalls automatically.

  • Answer:

It MIGHT be one of these things 1. if you had a previous video card and did not delete the drivers that may be the problem 2. the video card does not have the right version of direct x? those are posibiltitys not promising anything
