How to disable alarm on 1997 F150?

How can I disable the alarm on my 1997 Chrysler Sebring?

  • I recently had it painted and now the alarm turn off with any of the tricks I knew or even when I start the car. I cant stand being afraid to get into my car:(

    look in you fuse box. it is located on the left side of the driving column, when you open the door.... look for the fuse that is marked "alarm" etc... if it isnt there, try the fuse box under the hood the back sides of each fuse box covers has a diamgram of which fuse is which

Follow the wire to the horn and cut it. If you had it installed after market, go back to where you had it installed. If it is a factory item, you need to call Chrysler.

the factory system can be turned off with a chrysler scan tool. it is body control module programming, there is no alarm fuse.
