How do you put a video from a video clip on Windows Movie Maker?

How do I save my pivot on Windows movie maker?

  • I have windows movie maker 2.6 when i upload my pivot files in GIF form so its a video. I have about 13 small clips i wish to put together to create a animation but it only saves as a proper file when i try to save only 1 of my small clips but when i put more than 1 clip in it says windows movie maker cannot save to the specified location.. etc but some clip combinations work. I alreayd individually tried testing and saving all the clips individual so the clips arent broken or anything... theres no x's on the clips as well and theres plenty of space on my disc drive.

The message you're getting is Movie Maker's way of saying that it can't access the computer resources it needs to process your project. While looking for other gif animation info I found a few links to info re Pivot animations. This video might be helpful. When selecting the bmp files to import into Movie Maker, click on the first one then hold down the Shift key and click on the last one and they will all highlight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJ6O7JM81UI This article explains the importance of increasing the duration for gif animations. http://www.ehow.com/how_8256796_insert-animated-gif-movie-maker.html You'll probably have to save each of your short Pivot gifs as movies, then import all the short movies into Movie Maker and render (publish or save) as a whole movie.
