I've tried everything. I've put tape on the switch. I've tried switching it back and forth. I can't even format the card because it say's it's write protected. What do i do?

Answer:
I have just fixed this problem on the SD card I use in my camera. When I turned the camera on a message came up "write protected" and it wouldn't let me take photos. Take the card out and there will be a small white switch on the side of the card itself (not sure if the switch you are referring to is on the camera or the card itself). Slide the switch on the card to the opposite position it is in.
