Microsoft word 2007 numbering?

i just finished writing some stuff 15 pages long,and i want to put some page numbers from the fourth page,because from 1-3 are cover and introduction.so basically all i want to do is to put page numbers from 1-12 started from the 4th page,how do i do it? im sorry if this confuses you

Answer:
Insert a section break at the end of p3 (Page Layout tab, Page Setup group) and on the Header & Footer Tools Design tab, Navigation group, click on Link to Previous to break the link between sections. Now on Insert tab, insert the page number.
