reliability of the 1996 monte carlo z34? help this may be my first car!? i found a 1996 monte carlo z34 with 135k miles on it for sale. i believe they have the 3.4l dohc engine. i know that the 3.8l 3800 engine is bulletprof reliable, but what about the 3.4 in the monte carlo? also, just in general hows the reliability of the 1996 monte carlo z34? this may well be my first car, so any respectable, helpful advice will be GREATLY appreciated!

i beg to differ. i have the same year monte carlo with same engine with 342 546 miles on it. i went outside and looked haha.
