Why won't movie maker save my file?

Windows Movie Maker 2.6 Won't Save My File - What Do I Do?

• My computer won't save the 29 second video I have produced. WMM says it can't save the video to the specified location every time I change what folder to put it in. I have also tried to split the video into smaller parts and have even separated the audio and clips but that hasn't worked either. My computer has enough disk space because my part is only 7.74 MB. I tried creating the video again on a notebook/netbook computer but that wouldn't save it either. I had the same problem and attempted to do what I mentioned above once more but it still wouldn't save. I don't know what to do. Can someone help? I have Windows 7 and installed WMM 2.6 on there because there are certain things I can do to clips on there that I can't when I use Windows Live Movie Maker.

  the same thing happened to me, here are some things that may help you: - go on WMM and go on tools at the top them options and press restore all defaults - if that doesnt work when you import your movie there is a page where it says name your movie but go on the page AFTER that ok. Then it says other settings and there is a downwards arrow, press it and click on DV-AVI(pal) this will make it easier to store ur video and makes it better to manage. - check EVERYTHING. put your video and music into SEPARATE WMM's and make them both into movies. You might have a corrupt file which stops it from saving, so the one with the corrupt file will not save so you can get it out of the video so it should save yay!! =D hope this helps, good luck!
