How to replace the back up sensor?

How To Replace A Tire Sensor on Chevy Silverado?

  • Do I Just Change The Sensor Part Or Do I Have To Replace The Valve Aswell? Because I Was Told To Replace The Tire Sensor Becausr It Was Bad So I Did But When I Took It To The Dealer To Get The Tires Relearned They Said Something Was Still Wrong. Could It Be That I Need To Replace The Valve Aswell Cuz I Only Changed The Sensor Part? Any Advice/Help Would Be Appreciated? It's A 2008 Chevy Silverado

  • Answer:

The dealer said "They Said Something Was Still Wrong"? Did they say what that something was? Is your tire able to hold pressure properly or is there a problem with your TPMS not reading properly. The value would only be an issue if the tire is not holding pressure and the tire itself does not appear to have a leak. Otherwise, the TPMS kit you installed was defective or not installed properly.
