Is this a good deal for a Chevy Monte Carlo?

Would a 2007 chevy monte carlo be good for me?

  • now im going to get a car soon and i have some certain restrictions. i can only buy GM because i have a discount, something under 10 grand, is good on miles, and looks good. ive researched it and the mpg jumps around on every different site. if you dont think a monte carlo is all that great, please suggest some good looking good mpg GM cars (preferably 1995+) the cobalt looks too much like a chick car to me

    The Monte Carlo would be a great car for you. The six-cylinder versions will get you over 30 mpg on the highway in the summer and around 26 mpg on the highway in the winter (now you will take a hit if you get an 06-07 SS with the V-8, but that will also take you way over $10K). They have plenty of power (I believe the 3.5L starts out with 200 hp) and the power/weigh ratio is excellent for gas mileage. They are great looking cars and you won't regret owning one.

Monte Carlo is an excellent car. 2 door Impala. The Impala is proven in police service. Fuel economy is on par with any other V6 sedan so don't obsess over it.
