Can i build and electric engine for a bicycle?

How can I build a retard-proof engine for my car?

  • I am a total idiot. Many years ago, I had this decent Camaro, and I ruined a good 350 motor in it. It threw a rod, and had to be completely rebuilt. Since I am an idiot, I put too much oil in the engine, and drove it really hard. It's all my fault for ruining that good motor. I don't have the car anymore. I want to have another car in the future, but I don't want to remain an idiot. So how can I build an idiot-proof engine? What can I do to assemble an almost indestructible Chevy small block? Would it need to have all forged stuff inside? I am also good at making cars run hot as hell. How can I make it run cooler? What can I do to build a performance engine that even I couldn't annihilate? I want the motor to be able to take sustained, repeated abuse- high revving, high temps, a lot of stress (like drag racing, going up steep hills, etc), and so on. I am also a poor idiot that knows nothing about mechanic stuff. So I will need to build a motor on a very tight, food stamp budget. What must I do?

Sounds like your SOL bud. Strenght and power comes at a price. It's not cheap or easy to build one that will stay together under hard use. Sme very basic stuff is yes a good forged bottom end. Scat forged crank, scat I beam rods, probe, wiseco, SRP, etc forged pistons. Keep compression around 9.5:1, tis will give good power but not push the limits on octane and timing. Valve train is a major thing for high RPM. Myself I'm running solid lifters with the EDM lazer burnt oiling hole, 1.437" dual valve springs with damper, chrome molly retainers, VTO PC seals, 7/16" arp rocker studs, howards billet full roller rocker arms But just those parts there are $500 The crank will run you aout $500 Rods $230 Pistons $400-600 Set up a good oiling system. HV/HP oil pump and steel collar, 7 qt. kicked out sump oil pan with matching oil pump pickup Set pickup to pan bttom clearance to 3/8" to 7/16" Then run a good cooling system. Mine is a daily driven car making 600 HP that I race in NHRA DOT tire class 1/4 mile and I keep it in the 190* range at all times. My cooling system is a Mildon high flow water pump, summit 31x19" two 1" row alum rad., 1989 ford taurus 2 speed elec cooling fan,, Two transmission coolers

"So how can I build an idiot-proof engine?" You can't. Nothing is idiot proof. You'll have a far FAR easier time just educating yourself and paying more attention to the work you do on cars.

Take out the motor and cut holes in the floor board then just put your feet on the ground and run like Fred Flintstone.

Kill yourself, you'll find that the retard can't touch it anymore

Buy yourself a bicycle, treat it the same way you treat your car. After YOU feel the pain your car feels then maybe your COMMON SENSE will kick in and help you take better care of your car. Have a nice day! :D

Nayo

you should buy a reliable good running car no matter what kind it is and keep the hood closed for the entire time you own it,if somethings not right you take it to a pro,if it won't stop you take it to a pro,you sound to inept to even check the oil and coolant level so this should also be done by a pro,or a speedy lube type place at the least,if you are to much of an idiot to read a manual and get specs for oil capacity and such there is no hope for you,,,,if this don't work get a bicycle
