How do i get website design projects?

I am a website designer, I am currently working freelance but at the moment I can't find clients.I don't do Bid's or anything of the likes. How can I find clients?

1. Make a nice onlline portfolio site so people can see whether you're any good. 2. Learn spelling and grammar! Nobody wants a website with sloppy text. 3. Print up business cards and leave them around. 4. Do volunteer work so people get to know you. 5. Join organizations like AIGA to network.
