What do you think about the red 2004 Mustang?

Can my BMW M3 take a mustang?

• My parents just bought me a 2004 BMW M3 about a month ago. It's got a 333 horsepower inline 6 cylinder engine, but it is damn quick for a six-cylinder. It is a six-speed manual. I took it for a drive today. I was sitting at a red light and this guy in a rouche edition mustang pulls up next to me and revs... I get the message that he wants to race. I have never raced anyone before, because I just got my license. You might call me that rich kid from school. Anyways, I beat him off the line and up to seventy miles per hour... Then I let off the gas, because I didn't exactly feel comfortable going that fast through a borderline-city type area. When I let off the gas, he was about two car lengths behind me, but wasn't gaining on me at all. I was wondering, is this possible? Or did the kid in the mustang just really suck at driving? He looked about 20 years old, but I consider myself pretty good with the third pedal... Idk if he shouldve beaten me or not, what do you guys think? Also, what are some cars that I should be willing to take on, and when I should know to step back and pussy out...? Like if a Z06 challenges me or something?

  Yes M3 can beat most Mustangs but don't take on a Z06 because it will beat you.The C6 Z06 has 505hp and is even faster than an M6 up to 200km/h because it is very light.If you have lots of information about power and torque numbers of cars and their performance numbers you can better decide when to step on gas and when not to. But you should be confident with your car, it is a nice car and if it was the UK version it was 343 hp(10 more!).The only thing you must learn is proper shifting with your manual near 8000 rpm if you want to win races.
