How do you reset are digital watch?

The battery on my bmw m3 went down. i need to reset the watch inside the car. how do i do it?

  hi you havnt said what year/ model it is so E46:- on the car computer scroll round to the clock display and twist the right trip button E90/E92/E93(idrive):- push down on the idrive stick and scroll down to display settings and scroll to the cock E90/E92/E93:- press menu on the radio display and scroll to computer/configure(cant remember the display name) and then scroll right to the end to the clock
