How to make a website (second question)?

  • ------- my friend is a rapper and hes looking to make a website. he asked me for help or for any suggestions and i said ill look into it. now I'm trying to make a decent website. if i can make something fancy using flash or just plain HTML then fine by me, I'm just trying to make an appealing an creative website that'll attract people. any ideas and/or any programs i can use? if i have to pay for a program that'll make a website quite fancy and attractive, i hope its a good investment because i don't want to buy something and realize later i could have done it for free. thanks in advance. I'm not going to add anything to the website, I'm just going to make something random and show it to him. and if he has any ideas to add to the website, then ill be working on it until the website design is finished. once the design is finished, that's when ill incorporate what pictures or other things he'll want to show -------------- its the same question, but nobody answered the other question that was with it, so I'm posting again. what this question is asking, is how can i make a fancy website that'll attract people? do i learn HTML and do it line by line? or do i use a program that i have to buy? which ever way is easier and user friendly, even thought learning html doesnt sound bad either. (i mean, what if the program malfunctions and i have to wait those hours for technical support? knowing the coding and using the program are two different things) thank you

If you don't know how to make a web site putting one together for the first time could take a while.
