How much does paint scratch repair cost?

Cost to repair minor damage BMW 525i?

• I have a 2003 BMW 525i, there are two small (a tad smaller than a dime) sized dents with the paint chipped. Then someone backed into my car when they were trying to reverse into the parking spot next to me. There is a scrape thats about a foot long, I don't think it got through to the paint, but I know it got through the clear coat. About 4 scratches. Then there are three small paint chips that are about the size of a small scratch on the bumper. And finally one very small, but deep chip on the rear passenger door. I'm going to take it in for an estimate in the neer future, but I'd like to get a very rough idea of the cost to repair it.

  If there is no question of rust or further damage then buy one of those paint pens in your color. It depends on where it is and what the color of your car is to know whether the cosmetics will bug you as you will likely be able to see the repair. At least you can stop any corrosion. Still, a $20-$30 paint pen to repair the inevitable nicks and scratches on a 6 year old car is probably the way to go. When you say a deep chip, are you talking about a dent? I saw, having sat for a long time at BMW's ye old repair shoppe yet again, an ad for a dent repair service. Instead of repairing it from the outside, I think it is banged out in some fashion from the inside of the metal.
