How to replace the back up sensor?

How much to replace 2001 bmw 330i o2 sensor?

  • I went to autozone, and my o2 sensor is gonna need replacement. How much do you think a mechanic will charge to replace a o2 sensor on a 2001 bmw 330i sensor.

  • Answer:

they are about 225 each list price. if you hook up a simple obd II reader you can figure out which one is it. I am sure you can get a better price than the list price.

If you get a line wrench style 22m crows foot you can change it yourself. It's easy. There are 2 of them (1 in each manifold) however and 2 after the cat. Make sure you are replacing the right one. You shouldn't try to clean them, it will most likely just contaminate the sensor and it will not work right.
