dont listen to the other people there not really giving an answer... iphone plans can cost $70-100 iphones are more for music, iphones weigh alott more, the vibrate is not strong so the chances of hearing/felling it isnt as good as the blackberry iphones ARE more better for not crapping out ramdomly blackberrys are small and light blackberrys are the best phone for quick texting blackberrys are NOT good if u dont want ramdom crapouts...then again it might just be my phone :S blackberry plans can come very very cheap. blackberrys are good for texting, and all the small things I.E. music, checking facebook twitter etc. then theres the HTC... the HTC is good all around..... it really depends on what you want in a phone
It isn't what WE think, the iPhone IS better
In reality, BlackBerrys look more like phones unlike all the touchscreens which resemble tablets pretty much. That's the major up-point with Blackberrys and they do face very fierce competition with all these touchscreens trying to keep traditional as much as they can. Blackberrys are generally good quality phones. They are unique for their design and are the only mobile phone brand i know who emphasize in production of buttoned phones, and yet manage to pull through cutting-edge designs. Other companys like Samsung, Nokia, or LG almost don't anymore. They are the most powerful buttoned phones and still manage to have amazing display quality, sound quality, camera quality, and perfomance. They are good over-all, and shouldn't be compared to iPhones, since they are in a different league. There shouldn't be any competition between the two. I just wish they were a bit cheaper, rather than only offering the same budget phones they've been offering in the last two years. However, finally, they've come at with an amazing range of different bolds and curves. You get a full-on touchscreen version of the Bold range, and there's a touch-screen version of a Curve too. There's way to go with Blackberrys. Especially for a company who literally came out of nowhere and still managed to do so good. Blackberrys are instantly recognizable, whereas when it comes to all these touchscreens, and the more touchscreens are released, the more similar they are starting to look like each other. I think Samsung, Nokia and LG are just trying too hard, whereas BlackBerrys are the quite ones working hard, producing amazing phones, with the modesty still left to not compare themselves to other phones. If you want a phone which looks like a phone, you can't go wrong with a blackberry. I think that's definitely the best point with them, which the rest of the lunatic company's lack. However, blackberrys and Iphones both lack the customization bit. They're not very customizable at all, which is why people get bored of them. In that case, android phones are the winners, more specifically the top-range ones. If you're not so sure about having an iphone or a blackberry, it's best you buy an android phone, like the astonishing Samsung Galaxy S2, or the newly released Samsung Galaxy Note, if your budget allows. At the end, It's what you want in a phone that matters most. Not which ones are best, as the price itself can be an issue.

iPhone! I used to have a Blackberry. Good at first, but then I got frustrated just from navigating on the phone using the track pad. I also noticed that my Blackberry looks cheaply built, looked like the keyboard can pop out with just one drop. Though I really don't like how the iPhone is the same thing every year, I wouldn't mind having an iPhone since I used my iPod Touch alot. Plus, just came to my regional carrier.

I would steer you away from the iphones 4s because it has battery drainage problems: http://www.techieinsider.com/news/13863/battery-drain-problems-continue/ Even Steve Wozniak, co-founder of apple says the same thing and that siri is glitchy: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-205_162-57360045/apple-co-founder-gripes-about-iphone/ And this is an Apple Legend saying this so you know it has to be bad. In fact, Siri is so bad there is a class action lawsuit brought against Apple for it not working anywhere near as well as it was advertised. http://news.cnet.com/8301-27076_3-57395727-248/apples-siri-not-as-smart-as-she-looks-lawsuit-charges/ the iphone 4 drops calls and is not recommended by Consumer Reports: http://www.pcworld.com/article/200924/consumer_reports_throws_iphone_4_under_the_bus.html With android, you get more free apps. For example angry birds is free with android whereas you have to buy it with apple, or use their "free" version which has a big ad blocking part of the screen getting in the way of gameplay. Furthermore, with iphone you do not get Adobe Flash which is required to view videos on many websites, it is a common complaint among iphone users. Plus you cannot expand memory with iphone if you run out of space but with android you just add a card up to 32gb and you're good to go. Android phones are usually superior in technical specs, faster and more customizable. It is the smarter choice, that is why it leads the global market in smartphones today even with apple selling a lot of their iphones cheap or free. And despite the Woz saying iphones are easier to use, ANYONE can use android, he had to say SOMETHING nice about apple lol.
i have had both a iphone is much better the only good thing about the blackberry is bbm but on the iphone you have imessage which is great also you can listen to loads of great songs and downlooad loads of cool apps . the iphone looks alot more posh and worth the extra cash
