How to transfer contacts from my old BLACKBERRY curve phone to my new BLACKBERRY Bold (old phone lost)?
-
The old phone is lost together with the SIM card, but was backed up (synchronised) via the Desktop system. When I try to transfer the old contacts to the new phone via the Desktop system, it doesn't let me do it, because the Address book is grey and cannot be unlocked or whatever

Answer:
Use Blackberry Backup Extractor: http://www.blackberryconverter.com/free-download/ to retrieve your contacts from the locally created backup. It extracts the file to your computer and you can import it back to your device with ease. It's worth trying.
