How can I find out how many time did previous user used launch control X6M?

  • I plan to buy a used X6M. Found some article online said that dealer will avoid warranty after you launched your launch control too many time. Even if they don't too many launch control will damage the engine. Can anyone tell me how to find out how many time did previous user used launch control X6M? How can I find out if there are some other problems with the car and I didn't know about...??? Thankssssssssssssssssssss

You would need to bring the key to the dealer so they can run it, even then they may not be able to. It might be necessary to access the computer. But that shouldn't be an issue. Using launch control is not only faster but safer for the vehicle than an inexperienced driver.

Bring it to the BMW dealer and they will check it out. But, I would stop and not buy the X6M. I would get the X5M or X3M. The X6 is too awkward and big.
