Answer:
OK so the Pontiac is newer and has lower miles but seriously. Did you see that damage? Would'nt be surprized if the frame is bent. Airbag replacement alone is goona cost big buck. And worst of all I'm sure it has a salvege title. Which means even if you have it completely repaired by a professional shop it's still gonna be worth 1/3 or less than market value if you try to sell it, and no dealer will accept it as a trade in. There's a reason the guy talking in the video doesnt want to fix it and sell it himself, he knows he'll lose money. On the other hand, the Audi seemed to have minimal damage and even though I'm not a huge Audi fan 75K is not bad mileage for that vehicle. There was no info whether that vehicle also has a salvage title. If not it's clearly a better bet. Question. I know you're probably trying to find a nice car on a clunker budget but do you have to choose from just these two? Many times a crash damaged vehicle can be more trouble down the road than the savings are worth. Especially if you don't have the repairs done by a reputable professional shop. Cant you set your sights a little lower and look for a uncrashed vehicle with reasonable miles. Mayb go back a few years to stay in your budget range. Just a thought. Best of Luck!

More information is required for anybody to answer this question. What model Audi is it? 4 cyl or 6 cyl? Quattro or FWD? Assuming its quattro I would choose that because a) I love audi's b) Pontiac just went out of existence c) getting around in winter will be a breeze d) I can't see the pictures of the audi on face book so I don't know how damaged it is but a 2003 audi for 3000 is a good deal (assuming the damage is horrible, but based on the first comment I doubt it is... And you could probably haggle it down a bit more.
