Why is the Sat Nav not working?

Audi Sat-Nav no longer working?

  • Ok, so we recently bought a Final Edition 54 reg Audi A6 1.9 TDI Avant (estate). Anyway, as the car is a final edition it comes with the build in navigation system. The head unit plays CD's fine and works perfectly on the radio. However when I try to use the navigation disc which came with the car i get back the error message that the "CD/DVD is unreadable". The disc is the original with the car I think as it is based on the 2005 maps software and is the European maps, I live in the UK. I was wondering if anyone knows the solution to this problem? Or why it comes up with this error message? I really hope its something cheap or easy to fix, and thank you very much for the help.

    Update the CD- available at the dealer.
