Water damage for ipod touch?

  • Hey everyone, yesterday my iPod slightly got wet enough to make the picture all weird & stuff. As soon as it happened I put it in rice. This morning I woke up & learned it did help & the screen wasn't weird, but there was another problem. The problem now is the iPod screen is really dim & it doesn't allow me t able to unlock it, it seems it doesn't sense anything. I have a 32 GB iPod Touch. I don't know if I explained great, but i appreciate anyones help. Thanks everyone!

You need to try Silica Gel Packets. There was a good article on associatedcontent.com that explains how to dry an iPod, MP3 player, cell phones, or any electronics. You need to place your iPod in a zip lock bag with Silica Gel Packets. Silica Gel will remove all the moisture from the phone and its components, something air drying will not do! Just Google "Silica Gel Packets" and you will find several companies selling these products. There is also a web site called: http://www.SilicaGelPackets.com that has them.
