Is it profitable to buy a digital camera and tv from malaysia and singapore?

    I've visited Kuala Lumpur recently and bought a Nikon 12.1 MP camera that has cost me RM 499 (USD 162.72). Depends on stores also. I have bought from Times Square in Bukit Bintang, KL. Place is nice, many sights to capture. KL and infact whole of Malaysia is good for tourism.

Profitable ? maybe. Possible ? yes. Worth it ? not so sure. If you buy it from there you might save a few bucks, but that's not where the cameras are made, so you still pay import tax and VAT, and you more or less loose all warranty. And lugging a TV across the world to save $20 ? i wouldn't bother.
