Does the GPS (navigation unit) in a 2007 MDX Acura bought in the United States work in Canada?

Can the navigation system in the MDX purchased in the United States be programmed to work in Canada...ie while on holidays etc? If not why not. Please reply asap...thank you

GPS is a worldwide thing, so it should work in canada. However, some systems require you to purchase different maps in different regions. Check to see if this is the case.

the navigation systems bought in the USA work in north america. the navigation systems go by continents. but it might not work in some areas in canada. read the manual for more information.

The navigation system will only work in ceartain parts of Canada. As you zoom out you will see the parts covered.

If you stay within 20 - 25 miles of the US border, (which is where 95% of all Canadians live) you will be fine. So why do 95% of all Canadians live within 25 miles of the US? BECAUSE IT'S FREAKIN COLD IN CANADA!

The dvd included covers most of north america, in canada most metro areas, but not much rural areas. All your highways are mapped as well
