2010 Honda Accord Sedan/Coupe?

Honda Accord Coupe 2010 or Acura TSX 2010?

  • I have pretty much negotiated the TSX price to 27900 (with technology package) but have not negotiated with any Honda dealer for the Accord (I'm guessing that I can negotiate it down to 24500ish for the EX-L w/Navi). I like both cars but I have not test driven either one of them. I am kind of hesitant in getting the Accord because Honda is going to re-design it in 2012 and I will be stuck with the old model for like 4-5 years. This will be my first car out of college and I won't be using it much (during weekends only). As for where I am financially, I will be making $75k and will be financing my first car. Please let me know if these cars are too expensive for me and I should get cheaper car instead. Here is my pros cons list for the two cars Accord Pros: cheaper, roomier, regular gas Cons: will be re-designed, not as good-looking as the TSX, TSX Pros: looks nicer, quieter (im guessing), nicer interior (im guessing too), more power Cons: more expensive, premium gas, probably more expensive insurance, smaller

    Why don't you just lease the car your monthly payments will be way less. You said your not going to be driving it much anyhow. And then when it is redesigned you can just trade it in for the new one. And also your statement says " I will be making" maybe you should wait until you can say "I am making".

If you can afford the TSX get it, it's one of the best cars out there. It compares to the 4cyl mercedes and the mini cooper, where as the Accord compares to Altimas. Frankly any Acura is a panty dropper.

The TSX will be redesigned around the same time as all it is is a gussied up European Accord.

I am not a fan of 2-door vehicles so the coupe would be out. My mom owns a 08 Accord EX-V6 and I own a 06 tsx. The tsx has more standard equipment than the accord (bluetooth, info controls on the steering wheel, I think the accord will be a redesign with the 2013 model and the tsx will follow with the 2014. That is if they go by the five year plan. I personally prefer my 06 tsx, bought new 11/06. It now has almost 118,000 problem free miles (with the original brakes) using regular gas. Also own a '11 hyundai sonata. Great cars that are getting excellent reviews. additional info: the warranty on the honda is 3 years/36,000 miles and on the acura 4years/50,000 miles.
