How do I tune my Vtec controller?

04 acura rsx with vtec controller?

  • i have a 2004 acura rsx base with no mods but was wondering what would happen if installed a vtec controller on it? would it do anything? thanks. its a i-vtec engine too

    Not really. First reason would be because it's a base model. Your i-vtec motor is not a lift motor, like the rsx type-s, which is the fast version. Yours is the economic i-vtec. 2nd reason is that the only reason anyone would really need a vtec controller would be if they did some tuning on the internals of the motor. So basically, a vtec controller for you would be a waste of a few hundreds bucks and thats about it. Hope this helps.
