Will this cd player work in my car?

ITunes-burned CDs dont work in car CD player? (2000 Acura TL)?

  • The CD Player DOES work with some burned CDs, I have an old mix CD on an imation recordable CD. Cant remember if I used itunes to burn it. I tried burning the latest CD first on default, then instead of maximum speed (whatever that means) I chose 24x, but this doesnt work either. I'm assuming since I use imation 1-48x CD-Rs that means 48x is "max speed" in this case... Either its the cd format itself, or just that iTunes cannot produce a cd that works at ALL in my cars CD player. Anyone else have this problem and is there I way I can still use iTunes to burn a CD? I want my musiccccccc.....

    Ive used itunes for years with no problems. maybe CD player is old and dirty, or try changing to Memorex or Maxwell, Ive never had problems with those.

Get mediacoder and change it to a wave file.

you need to change it to audio file only if you have a older factory radio but if you have aftermarket like pioneer,etc. it will work fine, i use ipod on my pioneer and have never used cds since then.
