What are some decomposers of the polar oceans? I need this for a science project! Please Help!?

I have a science food web project and I need to know some decomposers of the polar oceans. I thought crabs were but they're scavengers. There should be some kind of bacteria but I don't know...

Sea ice bacteria can occur in abundances of several million cells/ml sea ice. They play an important ecological role in recycling of dead and dissolved organic matter and form a major food source for sea ice protists (flagellates, ciliates, amoeba) as well as for some invertebrates. I dont know for sure if this is correct or not, so dont completly trust my answer. I google searched it but i just couldnt find anything. sorry!
