How do you care for monarch caterpillars?

• i got this Butterfly thing, were you take care of 10 butterflys and when they are crystalists you put them in this blown up object [not really names for them!] so there is more room and when they are butterflys you set them free. Ok, do you know what im talking about? Well thats the idea if you dont and well the caterpillars developed into crystalists in conpletely different times! I didnt think it was that big a deal until i got eggs under a leaf in my pop up set, i still have a crystalist thats suppose to open today i think. Anyway i guess this doesnt happen much so i decided i was ganna let them hatch, take some to the wild, and then keep some to have another set! lol. Thats the story - Now i just need to know how to take care of them... 1: What do Monarch butterfly caterpillars eat? 2: when do they hatch from there eggs? 3: Do they need anything else accept food and water? Please answer quick!

  The female only lays eggs on milkweed plants. This are the only thing that the catepillars eat. The eggs hatch in 4 days, Noting special is needed.
