How good is Sapient for freshers?

Let's say lions evolved into a Sapient species...?

• (I'm not really shore what category this shoud be in :-/ ) Let's say lions evolved into a Sapient species... What would their language sound like? See, I'm writing something and it has those sapient lions and I'm having troble tring to grasp what their language would sound like.

• Answer:

  I think they'd have deep voices. And they'd have olive to golden tanned skin with gold blond hair. The apes are high pitched, and many humans have higher voices than lions anyways. I find a Lions roar and talk is quite low and alto, so I think if they evolved the males would be low. The kids still high as all babies have high pitched voices, but as they got older they would become lower and more edgy, a little lower than we humans.
